Burnout, Compassion Fatigue and Vicarious Trauma are all terms used to describe the physical, emotional, and psychological exhaustion that can occur when working in the helping professions. This course is designed for anyone working in a helping profession or otherwise feeling signs and symptoms of these conditions. This course discusses ways to recognize and prevent burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma in order to help professionals maintain a healthy work-life balance.

This course is eligible for 1 CLE credit in Nevada, including 1 mental health credit. Please note that MTC charges a $10 service fee to obtain this credit on behalf of participants since this course is being offered for free. This fee offsets a portion of the costs charged to MTC by the Nevada Board of Continuing Education. If you would like to request this credit, you will be directed to do so at the end of the course.
