This course discusses how to identify domestic violence when it is present, explores how family violence and agency involvement impact families, offers tips for conducting a safer and more meaningful mediation process; explores substantive topics commonly addressed in child protection mediation; and shares techniques for practicing self-care while providing a trauma-informed practice for participants.
