Custody mediation provides a unique opportunity for mediators change the lives of the families with whom they work. Custody mediators can help parents shift the focus of their relationship away from the animosity that led to their separation and back onto the children they love. This course addresses how to use the mediation process to help parents identify their goals as co-parents, consider custody arrangements that will work for their unique circumstances, and address special circumstances that often arise. Melissa Mangiaracina and Margaret Crowley draw on their experience mediating hundreds of custody cases, sharing their own tips and techniques for successful custody mediation.
